Sensor on oil filter housing?

Featured Replies

Its the one just below where the oil feed goes in but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

Anyway, I've snapped it whilst changing my turbo and undoing the oil feed line and it has brought up a flashing red oil can on my cluster, is it safe to drive until I pick a new one up Monday?

Cheers

Sam

It's a oil pressure sender, fine to drive unless of course it's leaking oil out of the end of it!!

As coskev said its the oil pressure switch, funny reading this as I also broke mine last weekend changing the turbo oil feed pipe, I got a pattern one from a local motor factors for £8

I nearly broke mine but then decided to remove this first then take oil feed pipe off
