Bike Intercoms - what's the best now?

As per the title what is currently best and most reliable in the world of motorbike intercoms now?

I've not needed any since I had some Starcom wired system install on my old XL1000V nearly a decade ago. Things have moved on and I know bluetooth others wireless connections now which is much less faff than plugging and unplugging wires everytime you mount or dismount the bike.

I don't need it to connect to other bikers just the wife on pillion, phone (voice control would be nice) and music. Other than that connection quality, battery life and robustness would high on the priorities.
