Value loss

Featured Replies

The Fab has been a company car so far. As Im retired since a couple of weeks I'm determined to take over the ownership and had a valuation of the car today at the Skoda dealer. After 13 months and 21000 kms distance covered the value loss is about €7500 or a decline from €18000 to €10500 for a trade-in!

I'm very satisfied, because the €10500 will be the price I have to pay for redemption :D

Glad it's worked out for you. What is the trim your drive? Just wonder if that would have a effect. Any extras, too. :)

About everything available except for the DSG and a glass roof. Extras does never pay back, or very little.

I think you are broadly correct. Most extras do not add resale value. I think climate control and DSG probably do and the glass pano roof might help to keep price higher, but too soon to tell.

Climate control won't add any value when the car comes with aircon as standard, DSG probably will as will the pano roof though.
