Right then, a little late but worth the wait:

This is the first time I have used the umbrella and I can't believe how good it is, the quality is great!! It has a finger touch release mechanism which is sprung loaded!! You also have to press the release button to get the umbrella to retract!!

Don't be put off with the cost of this umbrella, it's well worth the money!!

My 03 Superb comfort was also missing the Brolly. I replaced mine with a brolly fromm Marks & Spencer.

It's dark grey, £15.00 and has a button that extends it and closes it just like the real one.

I think you might find that this is called 'theft'.

Why don't you also wait till you need 4 new tyres and 'borrow' them of ypur local dealer's demonstrator car, you could also get some new alloys, mats, boot nets, cd cartridge, spare bulbs, tool kit etc:mad: :thumbdwn:

Was watching a re run of top gear the other day-the one where they tested the rolls phantom.Talking about the phantoms umbrella compartment clarkson said "rolls royce are making a big thing about the umbrellas but im not entirely sure why-you get exactly the same thing on a skoda superb.Its the only thing thats 'superb' about it!!!"

Are you aware of a device advertised on Peter Kay's Phoenix nights? Brian potter sported a lovely hat which incorporated a spinning umbrella attachment, thus keeping the inclement rain from his bonce.

If you were to purchase one of these fine products, then you need not worry about removing and replcing the standard Skoda Umbrella from it's dwelling. You would be wearing the rain repelling device upon your heed at all times thus freeing up valuable time to record your MPG in a little notebook.
