Wheels for my 2014 Superb

Featured Replies

Hi, you would be best in my opinion to stay with a genuine VAG wheels. 19's would fit ok, there are a few guys running them

What's so good about VAG wheels? IMO there are better looking and lighter aftermarket options available.

I would personally go with 19" at max. The ride would be very harsh on 20" and even lower profile tires. Also big wheels would look a bit silly on a lifted suspension.

I find our 18" Thermistos a good size, but the VAG wheels are prone to buckling. Maybe aftermarket ones will be stronger?

I run 19's, Japanese rims (with car when I bought it) and have 255/30/19 tyres. The car is lowered 35mm too.

Fronts are 7.5x19

Rears are 8.5x19

I've posted elsewhere on this, the car had 6mm spacers fitted which I was not happy/aware of. That's just me.

The 17's (winter wheels) are great but look empty in the arches.

When funds allow, and summer tyres are dead, I think I'd look at some 'deep dish' 18's.

I have aftermarket 8.5 x 19 all round, ET45 with 235/35/19 tyres, lowered on coilovers. Reducing the massive arch gap with any wheel will greatly improve the looks!
