Buying a used Octavia VRS, avoid DSG?

My dad has an 11 year old Octavia with DSG and its fine (though admittedly it's only done 21k)

I've owned a few DSG cars (4 of them) and never had a DSG issue. I've covered 70k in them.

Buy with confidence. They're great.

Last car I had for 4 years (was 10yr old when I shifted it) and had covered 80k w/o issue
