Fabia Tdi vrs turbo replacement

Featured Replies

Stage one remap any thoughts on replacement turbo to original spec ie bolt on to avoid re mapping, and any recommendations or thoughts on Midlands turbo, and aet .. Thanks

Surely just a new / reconditioned pd130 turbo if you want original spec and bolt on easiness.

I'm not sure how it will behave on the map compared to your previous turbo, it can't be much different I wouldn't of thought, unless the actuator has been set up incorrectly. Make sure to cover all bases to prevent it happening again, why did said turbo die? Or are my assumptions incorrect and you just want to swap the turbo ?

Aet are very good and they do refurbished pd150 for under £400. I beleive there was a surcharge on that. That will last all day on a remapped car to about 160/170bhp.

As said find out why your first turbo went pop.

Still running just noisy (police siren) but started chirping too lol, what engine code would the pd 150 by Ave to be to fit ?

I'd purchase vcds lite and run a group 11 log using 3rd or 4th foot down from 2000 to 4500rpm so you can see how it's boosting after the remap.

There's a pd150 hybrid in the classifieds...
