Does anyone know if there are updates to the fitted Sat Nav system in my 2011 Octavia 1.8 TSI L&K hatchback.

If so where can I get a copy to install?

Do you mean map updates or software updates? There will be both. Map updates can be got, IIRC, through the Skoda website. Software updates can also be got online but others on here are way more knowledgeable on them than me.

2011 unit doesn't benefit from the free updates on Skoda website I'm afraid. Updates are via dvd which costs nearly £200 from the dealers.

As above. The firmware can be updated with a disc but is a bit of a minefield depending on the specific hardware version of your stereo etc.

 

The maps have to be updated by a DVD which can be purchased. There are other ways to update the maps but they're not allowed to be discussed on here.

Have a look on audisatnav.co.uk i have had both sw and map updates for my rnse in last car and worked fine. Not sure what they cover for skoda but sure iv seen skoda on there.
