Looking to replace all four tyres on my 2012 mk2 Octavia vrs, i have read online reviews about the assymetric 2s and like the rim protection they offer, but was wondering if anyone had tried the assymetric 3s, and if they offer the same rim protection.

The stats on tyrereviews.co.uk seems to suggest the A3 is a slight improvement on the A2 on all fronts.

Maybe the price on the A2s may go down? I love the A2s.

I've had both.

 

Unless they are much cheaper, I can't see any reason why you would want to go with the older tyre.
