Specifically will SmartLink enable the BBC radio iPlayer app to display on the Amundsen touch screen and will it allow me to access the saved programme menu from the Amundsen screen?

 

Of course I can play the saved programmes via Bluetooth but not access the menu just the current item with no control on the Amundsen to fast forward etc.

Looking like I will give SmartLink a miss then.

I guess technically the Amundsen would support it.

But it requires the BBC app to support the Apple/Android CarPlay feature (which I don't think it does at the moment).

No it doesn't! But you can start them running from you phone and they will play ok through CarPlay
