I popped into my local Skoda dealer yesterday as a routine engine oil change service is approaching.

 

I asked when gear oils are replaced - puzzled looks, never it seems. They did offer a Haldex oil change, but I had already done it myself as they had forgotten all about it at the time!

 

The question is, are gear/transmission oil changes in Skoda maintenance schedules?

Manual gearboxes no, sealed for life as are transfer/angle drives and rear differentials.
