Hi all. Been reading various threads on enabling full closure/open windows on the fob rather than the key. Is their a definitive solution to this?

Dont think anyone has got the windows working from the key fob on the MK1 im afraid.

Definitely isnt somthing that can just be enabled and switched on.

need to install a separate piece of hardware for it to work sadly, not as simple as enabling with VCDS on newer cars

Not worth it anyway. Ended up turning the function off on a lot of cars as customers kept coming back to their car to find their windows open.

Cheers lads. Think I'll give up on this one and find a decent armrest instead.
