After 2 weeks of my  getting my Mrs  the Mk2  Combi ( with me doing a bit of the driving ) some observations ,,, The 16" alloys & low profile tyres don't like manhole covers .Also  the  load area also seems to have a slight hollow boom sound on the  move . I might have to  investigate some more  sound proofing in the rear. TPM has pinged twice  showing up , maybe , a slow puncture . I carry a small lekky compressor  & pumping up a couple of lbs over seems to last 5/6 days , I'll keep my eye on it .Every thing else very positive ..

... or IMO joints, patches, trenches dug across and most secondary roads in general.

 

I suspect 15" wheels and 195/55/15 tyres would give a smoother ride.
