Darkside Intercooler Pipe to Egr Quick Question

Hello just a quick question for starters I have made my own upper boost pipe following the guide from one of the members on this site buying the indiviudal silicone hoses and quick release connections but i was wondering for when i go to buy my darkside intercooler pipework it asks if i retain the egr or not which i am but they are charging an extra £35 for the quick release connection so im just wondering if the one i have already which is type d the exact same as the one darkside would supply? just trying to save a wee bit of cash since the kit overall is very expensive.
