Garage today informed me that I have aircon port caps missing. What are these and should I get some?

True, but I prefer to ask on here where I can get advice for my specific make/model from people with experience of it.

The covers for AC service ports are universal as they all have the same connections for R134a systems.

They stop crap getting in the service ports for the air con.

Bit of tape over them would be better than nothing.

First time I had my AC serviced at a Skoda dealer, the 'techs' had wedged the caps under the windscreen wiper arms.

Not impressed.
