Alright Folks

So i'm just back from Revo in Preston after having Stage 1 software fitted:D Impressive stuff. My car is now 234bhp and has about 240/250lbft which is great. Only thing:mad: my inlet temps are to high so the ECU is backing off the timing on full boost. Been recommended to do the good old pikey mod;) so it's out with the Dremal multi, and this will resolve the problem.

Anyway, i'd recommend Revo to anyone and the chap in Preston was so helpful and professional.

i take it the "mod" you refer to is venting the inner arch behind the intercooler?? i'd be interested in learning of the results you have as its something on my new year's DIY mod list.

Sorry, thats right. They told me to cut out the back of the wheel arch. The chap at Revo did it on his Leon and the inlet temps dropped by 20 degrees. Cheap but effective:D

I was wondering about helping the airflow through the intercooler.

Where did you go in Preston and what was the damage?

I think someone said the Audi TT wheel arch liner fitted the Octy which has the vent already in it.

A bit lazy I know, but it is cold outside

ABS Global in Preston did the REVO map

so for 500 pound your car is 240bhp have you got the phone number

Did you have an actual dyno run? Interested to know what the torque figure was (as opposed to 240/250).

mods as follows: full blueflame system, decat, TIP, hard pipe kit, pipercross induction kit, denso iridum 9 plugs, water spray on intercooler
