Which seats will fit straight bolt fabia vrs mk1

Featured Replies

Wondering which seats will fit fabia vrs mk1 without problems, just straight swap, as I'm bored of this white coloured seats.

Covered plenty of times but basically

Polo 9N and 6R

Ibiza 6L and 6J

Audi A1 (front only iirc)

Looks nice tho.

What about the rear ones from Audi a1? Because I've seen those rears for sale 5 door hatch, looks like identical for size.

A1 seats have been tried and they didn't fit, the rear is narrower.

ok, thanks mate.

I have mk2 vrs interior goes straight in

i've found,  you do sit higher up with the seat ibiza seats though.

Not that I've noticed on my Cupra seats. It's the same seat base as the Fabia.

So the polo/Ibiza rear seats also fits bolt on? Nice

Yes

That is a useful comment - I cannot sit quite as low in my mk2 vrs seats as my old ones; does not bother me though as i'm not 21 anymore and tend to sit like a normal person these days!

There is nothing to plug them into.

If you fit Polo 9N rear seats into a Fabia mk1, make sure you also fit the seatbelt buckles from the Polo 9N. This lets them sit properly in the cut out areas on the bench.

The 9N front seats also sit slightly higher than fabia seats.

Can I ask, is there anywhere that sells a lowered seat rail for the standard Fabia VRS (MK1) seats at all?

Finding the seating position to be very high.

Really? I'm 6ft 3ins and with the seat adjusted to its lowest position there is bags of headroom. Or is it back of the knee support?

I'm 6ft 1 and I feel as though I'm sat very high up in the Fabia. Definitely could do with a lowered rail of some kind. Might see if I can find somewhere who could fabricate one.

Didn't answer your question fully sorry. There's room that's not an issue, more the seating position than anything bud.

Polo 9N front seats, are the rails a direct swap for Fabia 9Y? Found a 9N set with no height adjustment
