Hey guys, wanting to get an aftermarket gearknob, I've read around about possible thread sizes and seen a few posts suggesting that there is no thread, just simply a 'push fit + held on with a clip'? 

 

Is this correct? If so, would one with thread on it still fit?

 

Any and all advice on this matter would be appreciated!

Yeah but there may be other VAG ones that might fit. I don't personally know though.

 

I'd like a better one for my Fabia come to think of it.
