Which steering wheels fit

Featured Replies

Looking to change my steering wheel in my vrs as it's started flaking. Does anyone know if mk4 Golf platform wheels fit or audi wheels off the 8l a3 or b6/7 a4? Not bothered if I got a mfsw knowing the buttons wouldn't work.

Cheers

R32 mk4 is a popular modification. I have a steering wheel from a SEAT leon FR.

the buttons are just for looks.

Looks similar to mine out of Ibiza fr, although my buttons are fully functional:)

Not surprising as the Ibiza FR is living inside your Fabia now ;)

Haha awesome, I assume you used the module from the Ibiza to get the buttons to work? Like I say I'm not too bothered about the buttons working. I was looking for either an Altea wheel or a Leon cupra wheel. Would like to know if there is anything OEM that will fit and is a bit smaller than the standard vRS wheel?

The wheels above look great!!

Haha at least he kept the manly shell and didn't use the girly shell from the Ibiza ;)

It's easy to get it too work just swap the entire interior loom lol

Haha sounds like a lot of hassle! I assume no spline adapters are needed or coding in vagcom for a non mf wheel replacement?

I feel our definition of 'easy' is rather different :D

All VAG steering columns since '99 have the same fitment as far as I know.

However the airbag connections onto the slip ring do change.

I like your instrument needles. Are they from an Ibiza?

Just bought this. I hope the needles fit :p

Should fit

Should fit

Thanks, I have a feeling they will :)

Obviously the LEDs in my dash that light up the needles will be green but it should still light up OK. I don't fancy changing the LEDs to red ones in case I have a disaster and ruin the PCB.

The Ibiza isn't girly, it's downright fugly.
