Featured Replies

Time to put my extra special, special edition up for sale so here it goes!

Make: Skoda

Model: Fabia 6Y

Mileage: 105,000

Mot: 14 / July / 2017

Colour: Race blue

It's basically the highest spec special edition you'll ever find, It's got a huge list of optional extras as well as genuine accessories and mild modifications.

It's a facelift model with facelift doors, dash and rear lights. Fuel computer etc in the dash, miles till empty, avg mpg, time, outside temp etc

- Factory sun strip

- Cruise control

- Storage boxes under seat

- 6cd multichanger

- Glovebox is cooled/refrigerated

- Anti-hijack

- One touch indicators

- Genuine Skoda DX Satnav

- Heated leather seats (all genuine parts)

- Genuine Hella xenon headlights

- Leather arm rest

- Factory tinted windows

- Genuine boot net

- Genuine mud flaps

Some of the things I've fitted are...

- Milltek exhaust

- Led lights all round

- New battery (3 year warranty)

- Bosch flat blade wipers

- Cupra splitter

- Tinted fog lights

- Gunmetal grey alloys

- Wind deflectors

- Grille sprayed black

- Drilled and grooved discs and pads

- Recently painted red calipers

- De-Tango chrome indicator bulbs

- Aux input for radio

- Stubby aerial

- Calipers return springs

- Rear pop out cup holder

I bet I've missed loads off but my project thread has plenty more information with everything that's been done.

It's got full dealer service history with every visit to a Skoda dealership for whatever it's needed up to its 90,000 service, then serviced by myself (book is filled in stamped up to date. It's got two keys.

- The turbo was changed for a brand new genuine unit around 80,000 at a Skoda dealership.

- The clutch and flywheel was changed for a new genuine pair (full kit, everything inc bolts) at a VAG specialist around 2,000 miles ago.

- The timing belt was changed for a contitech belt kit and water pump around 4,000 miles ago.

- The top end has just been rebuilt with uprated parts so should last another 100,000+ miles!

So basically every big bill has been done so nothing to worry about.

Now the downside, the car was vandalised when it was in the possession of a previous keeper in 2014 so is Cat C, you wouldn't know if I didn't say but just being honest.

The engine is BLT code and has just had the top end rebuild, but as well as that the EGR valve and ASV have both been removed and fully cleaned up and fitted with the newer EGR gasket to solve the popular hesitation.

The bodywork is in really good condition with no rust spots and no scabs showing up anywhere, the spoiler is also in perfect condition. The car is always cleaned and hard waxed with Autoglym HD wax.

Price wise, I'm asking £3,900. I've currently got other Fabias and getting used to a mk2 despite everyone saying its a big mistake, so I'm in no rush to sell the SE, it will stay taxed and insured Untill it sells so still in daily use.

Took some picture on my phone today (iPhone SE) so has a good 12mp camera.

Pictures to follow in a minute.

Thanks mate, got a few people interested already so yeah, shouldnt take long :)

FYI, I sold my Fabia sport to valvedoctor46 last year so he can vouch for me, (I hope :D ) he even over paid me so gave him money back.

Yep, definitely vouch for Richard. I real decent guy by the way and I wouldn't hesitate in dealing with him again.

Nice  B)

GLWTS

Still a douche...... :D

Will be snapped up at that price.

I can vouch for hutchy too. Bought a few things off him and they have been exactly as described.

(Mine may be going up in a few months...not for a stupid MK2 though!! :P )

Thanks for the kind words :D

Had plenty interest but no sale yet!

I went to see the car today with a view to buying it and I can confirm it is as good as it sounds....unfortunately I just don't really want a VRS - not because there is anything wrong, just because I've got too used to driving boring modern cars as my daily drivers. The engine on this car pulls very well and the suspension is rattle free, everything works as it should and the car looks good. Nothing to fault at all other than my own boring safe choice in daily drivers.

Thanks for posting up after your look around, i guess its good for other people with a view of buying it. :)

I guess that's the confusing thing for me, it looked better than you expected, it drove better than you expected, it was quicker than you expected and you still didn't want it, so i had no chance! :D

Nice to meet you all the same.
