I asked at Skoda near Blackpool and they told me around £150 for the 10k lube. Thought that was quite expensive tbh, but it has to be done (in 1k miles)

Why have it done by Skoda. There are plenty of independant garages that will do it much cheaper. As long as they use VAG parts/fluids it wont affect your warranty

Even though I moved to Farnborough, Hampshire. I still go back to my Greenford, West London dealer. Just got a 20k service and annual inspection for £170. Local Camberley dealer quoted £230 just for annual inspection.

In answer to the question, the 10k lube cost a mere £80

Camberly one must be the worst so far. Fish Brothers, Swindon quoted me £180 for a 10k service, which is a bit over the odds.
