Hello. I have an Octavia 2 preFL and I want to activate the DRL on the fog lights. I activated the scandinavian DRL in VCDS and turned on the "use the fog lights as DRL" option. But then both the low beam and the fog lighs are working at the same time. Does anybody have an idea how should I proceed to turn off the low beam in this case? Any thoughts appreciated

Interesting. I had a similar coding change on my 08 Scout and it put on the fogs (for which I reduced the intensity) and the side lights. TBH I thought it looked a bit pants and ineffective so ended up just going to dip beam most of the time. Then got the coding changed back.

Strange, on my pre-FL Scout I did the same as you but it worked fine, front fogs as DRL's, no dipped headlights.

 

I also reduced the brightness of the front fogs down to a sensible 60%...

 

How do you do this?
