so can someone help me out please

vegetu

vegetu, if the warning light is flashing it indicates that the electronic immobiliser has been activated to prevent the car starting. Do you have a handbook for your car, and do you have a Skoda dealer in Haiti you can go to for technical help?

oooh - D.I.Y dashboard removal? Sounds like a recipe for disaster. :( well it would be if I tried it at least. :D

Yep, that little key symbol means that the electronics is not recognising the key being used for some reason. Maybe when you were messing behind the dash you dislodged the transponder so the car cannot see any keys anymore. If you have a spare key try that, but if its still the same you will proberbly end up paying a visit to your local dealer.

Oh and welcome by the way.
