Hi, just joined so sorry if I have terminology incorrect.

I have owned my Fabia for 2 yrs and have constantly got 1000km per Deisel tank.

I have recently noticed that whilst I'm still getting the same range per tank the computor is reading less range and saying I'm out of fuel when I've still a few gallon left in the tank ?

Any ideas why this would happen

The procedure for setting the 0 mark on the computer requires 5l of fuel in the tank. You put 5l of fuel in the tank, which floats the endear and then use VCDS to set the 0 mark. So when the computer reads 0, you can still drive for a little while. If yours was set with more than 5l in the tank, it will read 0 at whatever was in the tank when it was reset.
