Seen a post on here regarding types of shock absorbers but can't find it.

So my Fabia needs a back shock on the left only (will get both done). What type of kit should I be looking for?

bilstien or Kayaba (KYB)seem good  don't fit Seat Ibiza sport ones they'll  shake you fillings loose 

Worth noting new shocks don't come supplied with bumpstops/dust covers.

Excuse the ignorance here..what is a bump stop lol

If your car bottoms out the suspension,on like a real bumpy road,the bump stop stops the shock absorber being over compressed.

It limits the travel on the shock absorber.

The bump stops tend to fall apart, and since they also serve to hold the damper rod covers up, this is what happens...

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don't normally need new covers, just the bump stops.

That yellow thing "was" the bump stop then?

If it's only a few quid more I'll add them on, not been done in 125k
