Anybody out there have a DJI Phanton drone??

 

I am stuck on a couple of issues and cannot get the dam thing airborne.  :(

 

1.  I'm getting a 'Calibrate IMU' error message 

2.  Warning, aircraft out of range error message when its right at my feet.

 

Any help or advice before I send the piece of junk back.

You probably know this but a quick search of the web suggests this is a common problem that means it needs a firmware update...

Done the firmware update already, that was the first thing I tried.
