My names Neil and i currently drive an '03 Honda Civic Type-R which i've owned from new. It'll be time to change my car this summer and i'm almost certainly gona get a Fabia vRS as i need something cheaper to run so i can save to get a house with the girlfriend.

Hi, i haven't driven the vRS yet but i'm well aware that it's a completely different kettle of fish to the CTR. I'm a moderator on type-r-owners.co.uk, there's 2 users on there who've switched from the CTR to the vRS and they're very happy with their choice. I will defo be having a drive of one in a couple of months time.

They are very different, everything happens the other way round. When driven gently(up to 2.5k rpm), they feel very muscular indeed, you could be driving a 5.0 V8... well almost
