HELP! Both windows not working, rears are wind down, changed drivers motor/drivers switch/ passenger switch , checked for breaks in loom, nothing -checked power to motor and switches, everythings good! Have also checked all fuses! when i change from new motor to old and old to new it works for a few mins/hours then dies again ???? Dont know what els to try! Anyone?

Don't think you need to code for window motors. I had no issues using the Fabia setup on the Ibiza loom/controller and I've seen nothing in the VCDS guides to suggest coding for motors.

The motor doesn't have a control unit that is linked to diagnostics so no coding. It's a fairly simple unit. However there are a fair few known issue with both the component and software. Ultimately if it works after it's been disconnected and reconnected even for a short time it's more than likely a motor fault. Check the part number is the same or a later revision (A,B,C etc).
