Columbus / iPhone & Bluetooth - head unit switches from radio to bluetooth audio regularly?

Featured Replies

After a little advice.

Just bought an Octavia VRS 2011 with Columbus NAV and Bluetooth.

I've paired my iPhone 6S with it and it works great for calls and streaming audio, only slight niggle is that when I'm listening to the radio in the car, the head unit regularly switches to the "media" screen with "Bluetooth Audio" selected, obviously I'm not playing music through the phone at this point, it seems to coincide with my phone receiving audible notifications through facebook, texts, imessage and so on.....

Any ideas how i can stop this, it's extremely annoying!

Cheers!

Never mind, I found it :)      it's in the options on the head unit, auto play bluetooth or something, turned it off, sorted :)

I`m having this same problem. Whenever I start the car and my phone connects to bluetooth it switches to bluetooth media which I very rarely use. I mostly listen to the radio. I`ve searched high and low in the Columbus menus but I can`t find an option to turn off  "autoplay bluetooth".

Press "Setup" > touch "Media" > touch "Bluetooth Audio Autoplay" select on or off...

Thanks Andy. I did find it in the end. Just not pressing the right buttons, story of my life
