Front right window motor problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

i own a Otavia II (1Z) from 2010 and from what I've heard this was an identified problem by the manufacturer.

The front passenger window motor is not working properly, once down it stays down, i can ear the motor trying to push it up but the window doesn't go up again.

I have disassembled the door, motor and window. The motor seems to work on both ways when not on load. I can move the window up and down manually/freely and it's not jammed on any rail.

I assembled all again and did exactly the same thing, after the window got down it stayed down. Back to the disassembly line.

I'm not using the window right now.

Can anyone advise on the subject?

Best regards,

chapas
