They said as it was an 05 car it had to have a switch and it would cost

Just that its near impossible to get in the back yourself - totally impossible with a baby seat with a baby in it ( the type we have is part of the pushchair)

Seriously its heavy and would be difficult for the wife to lift.

Be careful de-activating airbags- if an adult passenger injures themselves they could hold you liable for doing it, and if you sell the car you must tell the buyer for similar reasons. Heard some horror stories about it so a switch is a good idea!
