My Bolero is the later version, with no CD drive. I have always stored my CD's on iTunes but, when I put them on the SD card thre is no way (that I have found) of using random play.

Does anyone know of a way of making tunes on an SD Card play randomly, please?

If it's the same as Amundsen II just press the button on screen that has two lines with arrows crossing.

Place one of your favourite tracks outside the CDs on the SD card and retry. It should work at random thereafter after choosing that track first.

On my Bolero there is a root folder with the artists on, if you put a single track on this root folder, even if it is just a piece of static for 10 seconds, and then start with this track, pressing the random play button when it is playing, you should then get all the tracks play in a random order.
