I have problems with the clima in my Skoda Yeti, and I want to know where the internal temperature sensor is.

I am going first to change the valve of the Sanden Compresor, but maybe the problem was on this sensor.

The small light bulb in the middle of the the climate control panel

There are several temperature sensors on the climatronic system, most of them hidden inside the ducting system. Before moving on to change any hardware, might it be an idea to give the system a once over with VCDS? This can feed you all of the data from all thermistors, as well as provide sunlight load data, refrigerant data etc. 

 

Before pulling the compressor apart, have you checked if it's actually doing any work or not? and that the refrigerant charge is good? 

 

There are also several motorised flaps that can cause aggro when they misbehave. VCDS can also show you what they are up to as well. Seeing as the air mix flap motors modulate very frequently, there is a chance one could have failed, causing problems with the temperature in the car.
