Descaling a Pressure Washer

Featured Replies

Any ideas how to descale a Nilfisk Centennial C120.3 (I think) and I can see the scale building on the outlet pipe where you screw the HP hose to; any ideas on how to descale the inside of the washer?

Anyone?

Never heard of anybody wanting to do this before.

Use white vinegar or some other de-scaler, but it would have to get pretty bad to affect the running of it, the clearances in the pump are such that scale probably won't build up in there.

Not heard of this either, any descalers can affect the seals too, so don't know what would be safe to use. Hope you get sorted.

May be worth contacting the manufacturer?

When i do a cleaning routine on my pressure washer connections and snowfoam lance nozzle;

i decided to use Dettol mould and mildew remover. It has been mentioned on other forums as well.

It has worked great in the house - so i know its cleaning power.

If left to soak for a while then rinsed thoroughly - does a good job. :thumbup:
