I got the new Pioneer unit installed in my Octavia 2 weeks ago. So far I am happy with it.

There are things, which could be improved (start-up time, minor things in UI) but it is still a nice improvement over my Swing radio which did not even have bluetooth.

I really like DAB, Bluetooth and the built-in GPS with guidance in maxidot display.

You talking about the Navgate Evo?

Can you make some pics, or even better, videos of the UI in use?

How is the sound quality?

Yes, it is Pioneer Navgate Evo.

I will try to make a video in the weekend maybe.

Sound quality? Hmmm, I didn't change speakers and was mainly interested in Andoid Auto, DAB etc. I haven't played around with sound settings and haven't tried to turn up the volume, so it is hard to tell if it is an improvement yet...

The software and menus all look exactly the same of the Pioneer AVIC F77-DAB I have in my car.

It uses iGO navigation and it is very good. Much better than the MK2 Octavia Columbus I had. Plus you can use google maps if you prefer anyway.

The menus are easy to use and android auto works very well.

Sound quality is very good but obviously completely different car in my case with a built in amplifier in the boot too. But I imagine it will be very good in the Octavia too with good control over the sound with the EQ and tweaking the listening position etc. Not sure if this one has the auto sound tuning where you plug the microphone in and leave it to play sounds to tweak the audio settings?

It does have the option to let the microphone auto tweak everything.

Sounds brilliant except for the $$$$ cost.
