Hi. We are looking to get a Skoda Superb Estate but what colour?

Featured Replies

Hello. I am new to the forum. We are in the process of ordering my OH's new company car. We will have it for 4 years. We like the Superb because of the reviews and space in the back but cannot decide on a colour combo. We need to order quickly as there is a 23 week wait. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi and welcome, a nice problem to have, which colour :) Glad you're picking the superb, it really is huge inside.

Colours are always tough. what works and what doesn't in reality.  Which colours have you dismissed?

Not sure if it helps, but there are some small colour tabs here for each model trim: https://cars.briskoda.net/skoda/superb-estate

Do you like bright or subtle? Bright really only leaves corrida red or candy white. Safe is black, but lots of trips to the car wash. Moon White is an interesting one.

Thank you. Yes it is a very nice dilemna to have! Well we have seen a petrol blue in the showroom and liked that but think it will probably look very different outside. We have looked at the Skoda visualiser about 50 times. OH likes the Quartz and I like the Brown. White looks great but not practical and John definitely doesn't want black as difficult to keep clean and we don't have off street parking. We are kind of drawn to the brown leather so almost working backwards to think of a colour to compliment that but then some pictures on line don't make the brown leather look that great so that is why we are in this eternal loop. First world problem I know :dull:

Well I saw petrol blue on the launch weekend. Some loved it, I wasn't so sure. That was on a black interior.

Jungle green is rare ;)

Green and brown is nature's scheme, she's done ok so far on it I think. < I suspect this didn't help.

Welcome along to the forum.  Colours are always very subjective so you will probably get a different opinion from everyone on here!  Just a word of warning on the visualiser or indeed most web-based tools - they will look very different to real life.  Try and get to see some colours in daylight and in difference types of light of possible.  Petrol blue is really nice (just my opinion though!) but again you need to see it with different light sources.  The other point I would make on colour combos is dark versus light generally works best i.e. dark interior and light exterior or vice versa.  Good luck with your choice!
