Itunes

Featured Replies

Hi all sorry to ask probably a previous subject but when I first got my car you couldn't load iTunes files on to the hard drive only MP3 files has this changed I am intending to upgrade my firm ware will this allow me to do so I want to make a playlist in iTunes for the car.

Question - have you got a Superb III? AFAIK there is no firmware update for the new Columbus yet, only maps. The hard drive in the Superb II Columbus only supports MP3 and WMA.

All the audio formats supported by iTunes are supported by the Superb III's mib2 Columbus.

The only issue would be DRM protected files and in the case of iTunes, if you purchased them, they can easily be replaced with non-DRM versions in the iTunes store.
