I've had my Fabia VRS for a couple of weeks and noticed over the past few days the drivers door lock becoming temperamental. It sometimes unlocks and locks with fob and sometimes doesn't. Now it has completely stopped working with fob. I have to use key to unlock and lock it which is quite frustrating. Is there a how to guide showing how to fix this?

Try replacing the battery within the key, sounds like its on the way out?  Take you key into skoda should be a quick fix if this is all it needs, otherwise new key programming is expensive.  Hope this helps.

Bump, still not got around to fixing. Anyone can help? It's not the battery, I've tried with spare key fob too.

Look for a broken wire in the rubber boot between door and A pillar.

How would I check which wire is good or bad? Do I point a voltage pen tester on each wire?
