I've recently bought a 2015 Octavia Elegance Estate and have done most of the VCDS tweaks, but I can't find one for enabling selective locking (one press unlocks drivers door only, two presses needed to open all doors).

 

Any got any ideas how to enable this on an Octavia III (or any MQB platform car)?

 

Would also be nice to enable comfort opening/closing of the windows, any ideas on that appreciated too.

 

You shouldn't need VCDS to enable either of those - they should be available in the Infotainment unit (under Car>Setup and then I think it's windows or doors?).

I'm 99% sure they're not in the Car > Setup menu, but I'll take another look.

I'm currently sat in the car and just checked Dave - on mine they are under Car > Setup > Opening and closing settings

i then hve a dropdown option for convenience opening of windows, where I can choose all windows, driver window or off.

For door locking, I also have a dropdown option listing all doors, single door or vehicle side.

If you don't have those options, I'm unsure how to enable them I'm afraid.

I don't have any door locking options, and I only have options for window opening one for window closing (which is the option I really want for when I forget to close the windows before getting out of the car).

 

Any help restoring those options appreciated.

 

BTW I have done a full Auto-Scan with VCDS 16.8.0 and there are no fault codes.

Found the problem - the front passenger door one-touch needed resetting (which BTW works differently on MQB cars, as well as holding the switch after the window has reached the end of it's travel you have to release and re-hold the switch for a second time, when you do that you can hear the click as the end limit is set and the motor turned off).

 

Now comfort closing works OK.
