VAG com advice

I want to disable the passenger airbag so I can put a baby seat in the front of our fabia, and do not want to be robbed

I didn't know that VAG-COM could do the airbags. Mine has a switch to disable the passanger side one.

I suspect that you ought to be able to disable the passenger airbag using VagCom but I don't know how' date=' and wouldn't want to take responsibility for possibly screwing up [b']all[/b] the airbags if I got it wrong.

Also I suspect that the VagCom functions you'll need to access will require either registering the software (which costs) or using a genuine VagCom lead.

I thought it was a bit steep, but have to agree with this quote

For the sake of

They may well be offering to install the proper switch. It was around £65 as an option IIRC.
