When I bought my skoda octavia estate 2012 a year ago I replace the Inflation kit for a full size wheel and tray with jack and tools from a sellers on eBay

Tried using the jack last night but the u shaped jack point doesn't seem to be the right fit for the car

The part number on the jack is 1K0 011 031 K

Can anyone confirm this is the correct jack for my car. Thanks

That's correct for mk2 octavia

Remember that the jacking point contact area is BEHIND the sill.  The sill seam is only used as a means of stopping the jack from slipping.  The arrows stamped into the car body inside the door aperture indicate the correct location point for the jack.
