The turbo on my SE is starting to get noisy. Anyone recommend somewhere in Scotland, preferably as near to Dundee as poss to replace it and get a remap. Don't know whether to get a standard one or hybrid. If anyone on here has a turbo for sale, let me know what you've got, price etc.

 

I can get a brand new standard KKK on eBay for £599. Seems fairly reasonable.

 

Thing is, they can run noisy for years, just like my car to be perfect.

 

Star performance are VAG specialists and not too far away. Anyone used them?

I don't think I paid that much for a GTB1756!

If you are thinking of a remap then I would look for a pd150 hybrid from Xman. Get it fitted, new oil lines, then remapped, a world of difference.
