Hi folks, new Owner of a 2011 Octavia here.

Model is Elegance estate 1.8 tsi Dsg with 22k miles. First impressions are that it's a nice smooth drive, with decent performance. Have done 800 miles on fast roads at 45mpg and minimal oil top up required. Maxidot is not fitted, which is a pity. Took out an expensive warranty with the car but fingers crossed I won't need it.

Welcome Rob!  That's pretty low mileage, even for a petrol.  That engine with DSG will certainly be smooth.  Enjoy it

You're not wrong! I'll budget for preventative repairs before the end of the warranty. Got another car for running around in, so the Skoda will be for medium to long trips.
