Getting Photos Printed On Canvas

Featured Replies

Have a few photos I've taken I want to have put on canvas but not sure where to have it done. Anyone had it done?

Had two done a few years ago. I recall it was expensive and the result was not that impressive if viewed from close up.

agreed, much better results from printing on to metal, eg alumimnium. I always use Whitewall but they are German so the prices have gone up a bit with the collapse in the pound. Top quality and very very impressive results.

Thanks for that. A little expensive but if it's good then fine.

Yep - had quite a few done and generally been happy with the results (bearing in mind it won't be pin sharp close up due to the nature of the beast).  Have used SnapMad in the past cheap enough not to worry if it all goes wrong...

I have a few printed on canvass and as said above it wont be the sharpest of images but for me it didn't matter as it wasn't an image that needed to be sharp. You'll also find that the colours will fade pretty fast hung in sunlight.

We had some done but imho pics look better in a frame.

Expensive as well, BUT if you're not in a hurry canvas print offers come up quite often on GroupOn etc.

+1 for Snapmad. Really good prices in comparison to elswhere and both the print quality and frame quality is good too. Turn around is about a week though.

30% off at Snapmad - code 'WPD'...

Canvas are ok but not up close, (town centre stalls)

framed prints are very good (town centre as above)

but printed onto perspex is amazing,
