You have the best knowledge of your requirements and budget, so just go and try them out.

 

For what it is worth:

Octavia is bigger for sure, if you can afford it then my own preference is for the estate, if only for the fact the rain does not run inside when you open the back, and it looks better 

The 1.2 Octavia would be slower than your Rapid so you might be better off stretching a bit for the 1.4tsi if that is important to you.
