Hi all how do I change the constantly shown speed in the maxidot from kph to mph? Or will I need vcds to do this?

Thought about changing mine, however if you drive on the continent you will need it as Speedo is only marked in MPH.

When changed with VCDS to MPH an option tick box to display KPH or MPH appears in on the MaxiDOT

Guys

Given the newness of your Yetis you can't change the display to MPH, which is a pity.

This has been discussed at length on other threads.

But basically it's from the last update/facelift i.e. from May 2015.

Urrell & VAGCF, thanks for the updates, shame this is not a standard option in the software.

Yes, it is. I have the large MPH display in another car (which is also a VWG car) and find it useful for sticking to the lower speed limits.

Even in the earlier cars it was a bit of a faff as it had to be done via VCDS etc. and put to the Australian setting rather than just via the Maxidot.

Begs the question why it isn't set like this at the factory.

I wonder if it can be done via "Vag Can Pro" (VCP). Some of the Briskoda members have talked of doing things with it that VCDS, currently, cannot. I believe that VCP is what the dealers use or VERY similar. Might be worth asking in the VCDS section where you would also find the members with VCP.

Hope this helps in some small way............Tony
