Monte Carlo - black roof ?

Featured Replies

Does the Monte Carlo still come with a black roof ?

The Skoda configurator shows a body coloured roof, but with a black grille and mirrors.  Is that just an error ?

The July 2016 brochure only shows full body colour without the option of roof colours.

Black roof was an option from August so I bought mine in July

Black roof is now a cost option, used to be standard.

Might still be some unsold ones in showrooms with it included

Black roof is no longer an option that can be ordered.

As Urrell says the black roof is no longer an option. What I can,t get my head round is when Skoda brought out the Yeti Monte Carlo it was all singing and dancing, rear Led lights black roof and various other add-ons. All these have either disappeared or are an option, seems to me they are really on one cost cutting exercise.

Skoda seem to be devils for penny pinching, my new Yeti SE did not have side protection strips which cost me £ 60, the boot net set

was only 1 small and 1 large net until I moaned to the dealer who stole one from another car - even Skoda UK told me

the net set should be four pieces. As if cars were not expensive enough !!!!!!!!

By the sound of it I got the last of the MC versions with everything on it when I bought late July.

I was warned by the dealer that a lot of the OEM equipment was going over to optional extras from August 1st, at first I thought it was just a sales ploy to get me to purchase, but seems not.

Thanks for all the replies - that appears to have cleared up my confusion (so the black roof was standard, then briefly became an option, and is now unavailable :x ).

Just recently sold my 2013 L&K, and was looking at PCH deals for Monte Carlo's as a replacement.  Wasn't impressed as they were all factory orders, so weeks of waiting and I don't like the Monte so much with the body coloured roof.  Managed to locate and secure one today that has the black roof, and should be with me in 2-3 weeks time  .
