Hi all,

 

Took delivery of a black Octavia III vRS diesel estate in early August - loving ownership so far!!

 

Car history - started with a Daihatsu YRV 4Trak before moving on to a Fiat Panda 1.2 and, most recently, a Renault Sport Twingo 133.  I've also built a Tiger Supercat (7-esque kit car) with my dad, powered by a 2 litre Zetec on twin 45 Weber carbs and Ford Sierra running gear.

 

Needed more space than the Twingo could ever dream of, but also wanted something spirited to drive - hence the Octavia.

 

I'm the vehicle's second owner - it used to be owned by Skoda UK, so not 100% sure on what kind of a life it led!

I am a newbie here today myself & like you bought an Octavia VRS diesel estate.

Hoping to tap into the knowledge of other members here.

Decided to buy mine because I wanted space to throw the bikes in the back & I plan on getting a German Shepherd in the next 12 to 18 months.

Hi Matt, welcome to the site!  At least the vRS should have been serviced properly anyway being owned by SUK.  You must have had a bit of fun building the kit car
