Car went in for an MOT on Saturday and it failed, pretty badly :(

The biggest issue is my number plate lights are blown and the whole are is rusted to the point where trying to remove the screws (that are seized) has resulted in the rust giving way.

Finding it difficult to find any second hand tailgates for the VRS in red (or any colour) in the area.

Any one know of any where I could potentially find one?

And hatch tailgate will do, vRS isn't specific.

Can't help with locating a tailgate but I'd be surprised if replacing it was really necessary.

 

I would drill the rusted screw heads off so you can remove the lights, then you should have easier access to try and remove the remaining screw threads with penetrating fluid (like Plusgas) and mole grips. Only issue might be access for mole grips. Not sure if there would be access from inside the tailgate as well?
