I hate transit drivers who think they own the bloody road!!

There I am on my way home,minding my own business when transit man decides to swerve off to the left - followed immediately by trying to do a U Turn RIGHT in front of me -- can't believe it no indication no nothing -- at a junction where U turns are forbidden, the way he drove looked like he was trying to make a last ditch effort to make a left turn -- just as well I didn't try and get round the outside of him would have been much worse!!

Guy has admitted fault(Fool) although he wants to take care of it himself -- seems he's done it before and would be sacked!! -- Works van and all that.

He gave me his drivers licence as proof of name and address and his mobile number which I rang whilst with him -- he's only going to get one attempt to pay cash for it tho - after that I'll be onto his employers,my insurance and the Police.

It's lucky for him I'm in the trade -- can get things cheaper

Only plus side is the VR6 badge was faded and the headlight he broke already had a stone chip silver lining and all that

Hopefully, impact was quite low speed, but still got a stiff neck -- suprised me didnt think I would speed was probably less than 20mph at impact.

I've had some prices and the bodywork parts alone are nearly 500 quid :eek:

I'm waiting for our bodyshop to have a look in the morning to see if the panels are repairable or if they do need changing.

I'll give the other guy the benefit of the doubt but if he starts messing me around I'll report him and take him down via his employers

You have nothing to lose by going straight to his insurers.

Price it all up and tell him the cost. If he umm's and ahh's about it, go straight to his insurance.

Get the W**ker sacked. I am fed up with tw*t's who drive like c*nts just because they don't have to pay for the damage.

I pay a small fortune to keep my car on the road.

One of my mates did that once, unfortunately the car he 'U' turned infront of was a police car on full blues & twos doing about 50mph!! it T-boned him good and proper, god knows how but nobody was seriously hurt, even though the police car finished up in the window of a shop.

They obviously threw the book at him, and his car was written off too. probably a blessing though as it was a ****ty 300zx (or Fairlady s******) that had thousands spent on it in performance mods but was still slow!!!
